I'm going to look into those. The part that makes the pads so pricey is that shipping costs about half the price of the pads so it gets to be around $3 for each one if they are on sale.

I'm thinking any day now there will be a daily summary post.

We homeschool too. For the most part it makes my life a bit easier and I can pick the books I like. But there are times when I wish my boy was at a local school too. After all I would have time for napping and bubble baths :) BUT more likely him attending an out of the house school would mean more cleaning time and less clutter as the teaching manuals and supplies would be gone from my kitchen. And my living room would not have the alphabet posted all over the place.

Still over all I enjoy having my children home and learning everyday things while they learn from books too. Its not every 1st grader that can start a load of laundry. But my boy could if I'd let him, he has seen me do it so many times. I even heard him tell daddy how to wash the towels the other day.

My boy is now in his second year of college and boy do I MISS him!! He ended up learning how to socialize with others (all ages), cook and eat in a healthy way, do his laundry, care for critters, volunteer his spare time, etc., oh and, of course, read, write, and do arithmetic. We never went at homeschooling with the thought of going through high school, but, thanks to our great support group, we were able to.

Just popped in for a look and they are so darn cute. Look really good! How fantastic!!! I'm ready for some babies of my own. lol.
I missed them all hatch.

AWESOME! are those your birds in your profile pic? they are gorgeous! nice to see another NCer is here hatching :)
im in central NC

yep, ive posted on that thread! its great!

now, do you ship with that much padding on the bottom? I don't understand how the eggs stay in the center of the tube and don't slip...LOL I read the directions but I don't understand that part.
The egg stays in the center because of the shape of the egg! Any bouncing up and down, the tube formed but the bubble wrap acts like a spring coil shock absorber. Keeping the eggs in separate tubes and not in an egg carton(never ship egg in an egg carton please

) allows each egg to take shocks separately so if a bad shock happens in shipping, only one egg will break.

I wondered how long it would take to see you here! Welcome!

On a side note, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED! Well... the chicks have hatched!!! I am going to leave them in the bator until I get home from work today so that the third egg isn't disturbed. Check it out!: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ace-s-chick-cam.
