I have already set my calls on schedule, but haven't gotten a shipping confirmation on my gamefowl. Fingers crossed that they will arrive on time - set day is almost here!!!!

What kind of eggs are you getting?

Lavender Ameraucana and Black Copper Marans, I'm also setting some of my own backyard Salmon Faverolles to test them.
I'm trying to contain my happiness because I know shipping is so risky for eggs.

Was just waiting for warm enough weather to be sure I had some unfrozen eggs to set. Will be collecting Barred Rock eggs all week if the weather holds.

I was worried I would have to drop out of the hatch-a-long. I am buying eggs and the girls were not laying

but late last night the breeder contacted me that I can pick up eggs this week!!! WOOT I'm setting Buckeyes and so excited.
