Day 9.5 candle, and I had to ditch all my BLRW. There was no denying anymore that they are all clears. I also had four quitters - maybe day 7 - with blood rings (my autocorrect wanted to change that to boo drains??). Three Delaware and one Marans. Even though the Marans is dark, the blood ring and lack of embryo growth was very obvious. I have more to candle tomorrow that were set a day later. But as of now I'm down 35.

Bummer on the BLRW.

OMG...... I can not keep up. Was so busy over the weekend taking advantage of the nicer weather and I come back to over 400 posts to try to catch up on. I don't think I have that much time in a day. And I went back to school today. Spring break is over... BOOOO. But I bet my babies are happier, no to have me hovering over the incubators. I did get my spot check thermometer over the weekend and I have been spot checking all 4 of my bators and they seem to be doing okay. My still airs (2 of those) seem to be holding temps better than the circulated and digital ones. Go figure.... you think your getting something better only to find out what you had was fine. Still starting to save up for the sportsman cabinet now. Candled on Saturday and had about 20/88 clear. But I figures it would be like that since these were eggs that I had had from when it was real cold and some from girls that had just started laying again. But my LF cochin eggs are actually looking good which makes me very happy. Can't believe we will have babies in less than 2 weeks. Hope everyone else is doing great, and having fun. Gotta go do my bator temp checks now, everyone have a great night.

I look forward to seeing them. Now you need to hatch some girls for those

@KYTinpusher
Very educational. I have 2 male Isbars. I will post pics on that thread. I think mine are from older gff lines

I was incubating 6 shipped ISBAR eggs from a freind in Texas and only 2 passed 1st candling. I wish there was a way to sex them without vent-sexing. If they hatch and both are girls or boys, I will need to re-home them. I will try to find pics of parents in my emails somewhere.

I still have 3 ICE-Cream Bar x Legbar eggs still going on. I was told that theoretically they should be autosexing. Will see!
