Actual prenatal vitamins tend to make me throw up within minutes of taking them during most pregnancies. I take them until I cant keep them down anymore then I switch to a calcium vitamin, an iron vitamin, and a frolic acid vitamin daily.
I am just a few days past my missed period and am already having to fight not to throw up in the afternoon and evenings. I think I am either having a baby girl or a set of twins.
I couldn't take pre-nates either. Morning or night. They made me sick and I was already struggling with 24 hour "morning sickness" my Dr told me to take 2 Flinstones vitamins if I couldn't do the prenatals. So that's just what I did...lol

I am team CHICKEN all the way! At 46, what is that, 8 in 'chicken' years? I honestly don't see me making it to adulthood. I have three 'bators going...and two contain my first ever multiple staggered hatches. I will plead sleep deprivation for my indiscretion! Does candling before and after this reply count as my heartfelt apology? ;o

This ain't all of em either...

I saw your "Go Browns" locator and thought of the years before the Super Bowl when the Browns would take my Tom Landry Cowboys to the cleaners.

You collect flashlights like I collected backpacking stoves and water filters.

That's weird with them being in a turner because that is what you see with hand turned eggs after they have been laying on one side. If you pick an egg up and candle it before you turn it, you'll see exactly what you are describing. Then as you turn you can see the discplacement of the embryo as it shifts. (The one side that it is on is the side that faces up.) Once you turn it it moves back to the side that is facing up. (After using an automatic turner for my all my hatches then handturning I was intrigued by this.)

You taste the vinegar at all?

Nope. I put I. A little splash or two in as I put the water on to boil. If you're pickling them it wouldn't matter anyway. I've pickle the before. Two parts water to 1 part vinegar I prefer the apple cider vinegar but the white makes prorated eggs. I use a clove of garlic ( or sometimes I put in already mince garlic) about a teaspoon, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 1/2 teaspoon dill seed. I just put tge spices in the bottom of the jar. I water bathed the jars for about 15 minutes or a little more if needed. This is per quart jar.
