I really am confused on the sizzle, frizzle, fo shizzle terms.
Could someone please explain or post a link for me to learn?

This is my blue frizzle bantam cochin...and a calico bantam cochin...if you breed a frizzle to a frizzle you get a frazzle and they Usually die...and that is the extent of my knowledge, except I think you get a sizzle by breeding a silkie and a frizzle...

My wife called a short time ago to let me know that we have our first EHAL chick. I think it is an OE, and like a lot of you all, it wanted out and came pretty early. I do love my Genesis, this is our third hatch and it has been great!

that is true. i have a sizzle, and i bred it to a 50% silkie 50% japanese bantam roo...the feathers are smooth frizzled...not silkie frizzled like her mom...so would this still be a sizzle?

i dont get it...breeding a silkie to a frizzle...bc the silkies still look like silkies..not crosses..and how do they still have silkied feathers after this? MAN this is confusing! LOL
