And now we know why 9300 doesn't love you. You NEVER say that about an incubators sister.

I'm just pessimistic...lol. No, I just figured with the amount of people that said they wanted in and didn't tell their set numbers that we'd probably have a lot that gave their set numbers but wouldn't report their hatch numbers. Plus there were a lot of new hatchers. I figured if you halved it it would balance out the ones who had really good hatches with the ones that had bad hatches. I bet if you subtracted the people's numbers that reported the set but not the hatch and did the percentage based on the actual hatch per set that it would be a somewhat decent number.Interesting, I always thought chickens eggs had a high percentage hatch rate. so for next years guesses one should aim for 50% plus or minus around 5%.
oh my gosh, now that's gotta hurt!
when I worked on a hen farm in my youth, there was this massive egg laid. I picked it up to go show my boss as it was extraordinarily large, but I dropped it. inside it was a load of egg white and another egg including shell. it was the weirdest egg I had ever seen I all my time there.
I have yet to get one of these. An egg inside of an egg. Thanks for posting, these are always interesting.
I would say that I can't believe you said that, but somehow, I'm not surprised. Her sister was way hotter
I too have not had an egg within an egg. They are interesting, but it's got to be painful for the hen.I have yet to get one of these. An egg inside of an egg. Thanks for posting, these are always interesting.![]()
