@Sally Sunshine I will **try** to be there because we're supposed to close on the house on Feb 17th, it's supposed to be all finished and ready to occupy by then. Which means if we are going to do waterfowl eggs, they'd have to be set about 10 days from then. And if we're moving in... yeah... But my husband did remind me last night I owe him some silkies, so maybe we'll grab some of those eggs instead and be able to set on Mar 5th.

CAMPIN!!!!Sally twisted my arm, so I'm in. Hoping to set svart honas, if my pullet ever decides to lay.![]()
I just saw that Eater is in March this year... I didn't realize it was early this year. I really dislike snow on the ground at Easter time, makes egg hunts for the kids not as fun. Not to mention egg hunts for me from my girls lol, I hope they start laying. The pullets I would like to hatch from are not in with a cock bird yet, also they are 8months old and not laying yet so here is hoping I can get them moved to be with their male counter part soon and that they start up in the next few weeks![]()
Well, Happy Birthday! I think it's a must that you hatch yourself something!Im in!

My welsummer pullets hatched last Easter aren't laying either...........well, ONE is. The other 8 decided to molt at 8 months old. They didn't get the memo that they were supposed to keep me in eggs! I freaking had to buy eggs at the store today! (I bought pastured, if I have to eat eggs from the store, they will be the best eggs I can find)I know what you mean! My Wheaten Ameraucanas are not laying yet either, and they are over 9 months old, in fact they hatched in LAST year's Easter Hatch-along! I was really hoping to hatch some chicks from them in this hatch-along, but if they don't start soon...![]()
