I was PREGNANT!!
It was such a shock and a surprise I actually told everyone on here about it before I even told my husband. I had a great time chatting with everyone and seeing all the baby chick pictures and talking about my pregnancy but...
the pregnancy ended at 6 months when my son Dominic was stillborn, and now everytime I think about the Easter Hatch a Long I remember posting about my pregnancy and...I just don't think I can do it this year...I want to...I planned to...but I am sitting here on the couch crying my eyes out.

I will post closer to the setting day if I decided to join after all.

My color explosion continues. These are 2nd generation in my inbreeding trial. Fathers are pure BCMs, mothers are red sexlink/BCM crosses. Same fathers for both generations. The one on the left is a coloring I haven't seen before in my chicks, and I'm amazed at how many of them there are too. ...24 so far.

You are going to have some great layers, and some very pretty eggs!

I had a great looking Paint SG. I was soo hoping it was a girl. It turned to be a nice boy. Went to a gal that breeds paints and SG's. He is really nice.

Maybe having baby chicks to snuggle will help? My kids tell me that the reason I like to hatch and have babies around is because all of my kids have left the nest. This last one to leave was hard all right. I am hatching and still love the amazement of it all, the little miracles. Then, I enjoy those girls out there, and love waiting for that first egg. I so hope you decide to join. The folks here will be fun to listen to and can bring a smile to your face. You can jump in and help with questions I'm sure. I've lost two babies, I really do know your pain. I hope you can think of the Easter HAL as a good memory by coming along and having some fun with us.
