I got started on the downed branches but still plenty more to do! I took the camera with me and took a couple of pictures of the flock enjoying the windy, sunny day. El Nino has been kind to us and the flock really appreciates it....this kind of day in Illinois the first week of February is rare.

Cupcake....an Icelandic hen I got from @KYTinpusher
She hatched her in a previous hatchalong.
I love your flock, and you take such wonderful pictures of them!

I'm in on the Easter Hal. Not sure what or how many yet but will be from my eggs

Doesn't matter. Whatever time works for you. Some of the automatic auto turners stop turning end of day 18, beginning of day 19.

The Hatching Participant List is Current to Post 2942.

Have a great day everyone!

I'll pull mine tomorrow afternoon and set down cheese cloth to catch any shells. I hope my humidity is ok. Never could find a gauge small enough to safely fit in the incubator that didn't cost a lot. I'll spray with a warm mist through the vent every day as well as filling all water areas and adding a small sponge. The current gauge never gets over 35 even when I know it's higher so I'm playing this by ear, sight and just plane intuition.

CONGRATS what kind?????

Yes, be sure to search both with and without comma's. Not everyone uses comma's.

Any ideas on Trader Joes crossed with Legbars roo.
Three eggs from three TJ's hens today. They just started laying 1-27 already out laying my other hens.

I wish I wish..that we had a Trader Joes around here. I have children that live up north, but still nor real close by to one. I have a daughter that said she has a friend that shops there, and maybe she can pick some up for her. I will have to make a point to ask for this to happen as we get close to the set date! This would be a great set of eggs to try!
Man, I want some hens that out lay all the others. lol.. That's the leghorn in there!

So I candled the eggs Twizzler is sitting on for me, and my fertility rate is 100% right now even though I am down to my NN roo and polish roo with 16 hens, they are doing there job... I think it's mainly the NN though, becuase the polish isn't in the mood Right now. So that means I should have atleast a few babies from Twizzler, and have 35 birds coming on the 18th and 19th.. Than set eggs on the 20th, 6th, and quail on 13th...

Oh boy, I can't wait to see your babies. I love NN's and SG's..with bow ties.

Intuition can be entirely viable read this article: http://blog.efowl.com/2014/04/a-history-of-hatching/
