My power went out and my temps are dropping fast
My incubator doesn't fit through the door. Should I pack the eggs up into cartons and put them on my heated seats ?
I do appreciate the reassurance thoughNot to make light of your situation, but a couple of years ago, I had a power outage. I was inexperienced, and figured they were a loss, unplugged the incubator entirely. Much later that day a gal from here suggested I plug it back in and just see what happened. I did. I had an almost 100%hatch. It astounded me. They were unplugged for a whole day. They are much more resilient than we can imagine.
Quote:Exhausted, but otherwise ok. No fevers at least. I didn't even make it out to check for eggs a second time today. I think I'm just gonna candle and go bed.![]()
The light will go on and off. When your temp drops or raises inside. It goes off what you have you knob set to. So if you have it set to 100f. If it hits 100.2 the light will turn off. If it its 98f the light will turn on etc...The light on my hova bator keeps turning off and I don't know why I hassle bled like they said too HELP![]()
