After much thought and thinking I will collect eggs for 1 week for hatching. Hopefully I can fill my incubator if the 3 females lay an egg everyday. If they all lay an egg everyday for 1 week I would get 21 eggs which is one more then the bator can have so one will have to get tossed. If not hopefully I can get at least 14 for the bator
I am just really excited to be hatching my own show quality Cochins for me to show next year

I just started collecting my duck eggs for the hatch-a-long too! Good luck with your Cochins!!! Also how do you do those cute movable smiley faces?

Well, after my temperature disaster I have 6 out of 12 duck eggs on lockdown and 21 out of 30 chickens on lockdown. Not too bad!

Eggs set on the 23rd would count.  There is a window of +/- 2 days of set day for eggs to count in the set totals.  But you can absolutely hatch with us anyway!

Where do I sign up I'll have 24+ eggs on the 23rd to add to the hatch!

I know! But the temperature dropped nearly 40 degrees outside last night so the incubator was a little cool this morning. Texas weather is a little crazy!

It's been crazy here in NoDak.. last week it as 30 degrees amd beautiful and this is today
