I'm in! This will be my first hatch a long. I plan to set eggs from my buff Silkie to my frizzle Cochin. Hoping for Sizzles.

I actually just found them on the net. I had fun making them..cutsie. But having said that...I would guess that I could have taken that many pictures by now, with all of the chicks/chickens I've hatched..had.

Lol. I was going to say, if you had, then you are an excellent photographer and have quite the collection! Very nice of you to welcome all the new folks, and they are such adorable chicks!

Actually, there are a few that are mine...like that frizzle up there. My white frizzle. I have also posted a black frizzle. Like I said, a few, but the majority is from the net.

That frizzle is toooo cute! Do you breed frizzles? I want them but my mom says they are impractical.

I buy eggs. I do have a plan on being able to keep a rooster some day, when a collar will help with not just the loudness of the crow..lol..but also the duration once they discover their voice! I have tried it on a bantam yet, but love the cochins..have some bantam cochins in the bator in lock down now..and also love the silkies. Silkie, cochin, frizzle..either! I guess the silkie is considered a Sizzle. Maybe someday.
The practical thing of owning a bantam..cuteness! And of course, if you want/need a broody!
