The 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!

Ugh! Don't you just hate it when that happens? My silver Laced Orpingtons did the same thing.
Mine just went on vacation as well. Of course, that's because the goats were getting into the chicken feed

. Goats got kicked out of the barn into the field. It's nice enough weather here now, anyhow.

This is my first time joining a hatch-a-long. How do I get my egg # in this chart? I set 27 eggs total. Thanks!
We'll get you updated on the list.

I love my Cochin because I literally picked her up put her in a nest. Or, gave her eggs and she INSTANTLY went broody
She is like an instant incubator

I can't wait to see everyone else's chicks hatches later on I can't wait
Nice! How many eggs did you set under her?

Quote: Wow, 75 days? They hold on to it for a long time!

I set 10 black orpington eggs for the HAL. Didn't see my egg count on the spreadsheet just making sure you got my number.
Thanks for reposting!

When all of your eggs are set for the Hatch-a-long, please post your total number of eggs set here in this thread.
This includes all types of fowl.

Please total your eggs, so BantyChooks doesn't have to count them all. There is plenty
of work involved just recording the numbers for this many people hatching at once.

If you do not set any eggs, please post that too, so we know not to contact you for your number of eggs set.

Pictures are great, as we all love seeing egg pictures..........but they are not mandatory.
Thank you!

Update: The old Hovabator from the DI actually came from an Elementary school in Taylorsville UT! No wonder it has problems! :lau
Despite the massive swings in temperature today's hatch day for our Japanese Quail Tester Run and this morning I heard one knocking!!!
