We can't count your eggs for the totals, but you are still welcome to join in and hatch with us!

When all of your eggs are set for the Hatch-a-long, please post your total number of eggs set here in this thread.
This includes all types of fowl.

Please total your eggs, so BantyChooks doesn't have to count them all. There is plenty
of work involved just recording the numbers for this many people hatching at once.

If you do not set any eggs, please post that too, so we know not to contact you for your number of eggs set.

Pictures are great, as we all love seeing egg pictures..........but they are not mandatory.

For anyone that has expirience with the Brinsea Octagon 40 Advance Incubator with Auto Turn Cradle:

What do you guys think of it? Does it work well? Does it heat the eggs evenly even though it is so long? Is it worth the price?

Major question. If an egg had a saddle shaped air cell can it still hatch okay I have multiple like that becase they were shipped and I cabdeled and they are looking really good. But will they be able to make it or need assistance to hatch they are cemani hate to lose any of them.

Yes, they can hatch on their own. Sometimes they might have a little more trouble getting into position, but I've had some eggs with pretty horrid air cells hatch.

I have 2 of them. They have 4 fans, so yes, it does a great job heating the eggs evenly. It's a bit of a bear to clean the cover. Like 20 screws to take out. But the rest of it is super easy to clean. It holds heat and humidity great -since it seals really tightly. I would very much recommend the humidity pump to go with it. I have never had a bad hatch in them. Only complaint I have is that it's impossible to quickly open it to grab a dry chick or two.
