A week is about as long as I’ll go. Like Cap says turn them. Mines set up on a block in the carton and each time I go by I’ll rotate the carton 180. I have a hen I’d like to get some chicks from so as many as she lays I’ll set. The rest will be Altsteirers

Incubator update: Reached Day 7 and candles eggs. Looks like 4 of the 6 are fertile. But will be leaving all until Day 14.

That’s what I like to do as well especially if they are hard to see in like some of mine. Sometimes even till day 18

Yes, if you are saving eggs to incubate you turn them a couple times a day so the yolks don't stick to the shell.

I calibrated my thermometer to a medical therm tonight. The one that worked best was a $2 one from the dollar store. Just need to add one degree.

They are for a friend he has standard bronze and chocolate all in the same pen do probably mixes
