Yes but actually two is in the works. So three. I REALLY don’t need any more chickens.
I woke up thinking the order was a dream but nope it’s confirmed.
Oh and the broody contagion is getting ready to start.

Yep. And remodel the others while I’m at it. Plans are in the works to bring the coops into the barn.

My splash and blue Marans eggs are in the mail with a delivery date of 3/8, and they will be set 3/9. I'm soooooo excited! However, I really don't have room for the Bielefender eggs I was planning on hatching... But I may do it anyway. I haven't decided yet.

My splash and blue Marans eggs are in the mail with a delivery date of 3/8, and they will be set 3/9. I'm soooooo excited! However, I really don't have room for the Bielefender eggs I was planning on hatching... But I may do it anyway. I haven't decided yet.

I almost went for those. However it’s too hot here for them. I guess they don’t like the heat so much

I guess we'll find out how mine do. I have an "open coop" set up, tho, so I'm hoping that will help and the heat won't be an issue. (Texas definitely gets hot in the summer!)

I’m using a still air for the first time. I have 11 pekin eggs in. Would I be able to put a bunch of chicken eggs in there next week to help with the temperature? When the chicks hatch will they make it harder for the ducklings to hatch when they start kicking them around?

Some one will want them if you can't keep the chicks
