Hey y'all I set 24 Cayuga and Cayuga x Buff eggs this past Sunday. I didn't even realize they are scheduled to hatch on Easter until my mom pointed it out! I'm so proud of my girls this year for laying these wonderfully dark eggs!

Oh my word, THAT is an egg color I don't have. Must get some of those ducks!!!

You should combine those with other eggs and take a picture for the Natural Egg Contest.

Incubators are warming up, eggs are ready. Now the excitement begins.
I am setting 7 blue copper marans and 5 black copper marans and 2 Olive eggers , these are my eggs. Setting tomorrow at high noon.

I couldn’t wait any longer so I set my eggs today. There are 42 total. It’s a mix of BCM, Wellsummer, Barnvelders, Leghorn, and EE. My rooster is an Ameraucana so any that hatch would be OE or EE.

I have some eggs pipping that I bought off line. . before I knew how well this rooster would work out. First one to pip...wrong end. But it's gotten bigger since its pipped. It was tiny to start with. You never know with those. Hope it makes it.
