The 9th Annual BYC Easter Hatchalong!

Pics
or here in Washington state winds kicking up big time

:( Thankfully the wind has died down here. Last Friday was terrible with the wind chill. I spent three hours out in it doing the horses and I was frozen to the core. The bones in my legs were actually hurting afterwards :hmm

It gets very hot here in Woodland California. We get 20 or so days over 100 each summer

Being British our lot would be whining about it being too hot if that were to happen here  We had about one really good week of weather last summer in June.

our temps have warmed a tad more normal for this time of year highs tend
to be mid 50's

That’s about what we should be at too. Last week wasn’t though!

Our Relatives from San Francisco would not visit us on the Summer because of the heat. Family get to gethers had to be Spring or Fall

Due to the USPS, Im in! Waiting patiently for them to call to come pick up our first batch to hatch. Im guessing once they finally get here and we do the 24 hour settling period it'll be right about that time. 6 silkies and 6 Dominiques.
Looks like I spoke too soon, USPS can't find our package. Its already been 4 days since it was shipped. I'm so disappointed, it was to be our first hatch and we are doing a homeschool curriculum with at the fun stuff just in time for Easter. Trying to stay positive.....
