I have some eggs pipping that I bought off line. . before I knew how well this rooster would work out. First one to pip...wrong end.But it's gotten bigger since its pipped. It was tiny to start with. You never know with those. Hope it makes it.

Hey, while here, wanted to ask. .... would I get a Sexlink by breeding a cinnamon queen roo, to a Columbian Plymouth Rock? Thought I read breeding a Sexlink to a barred rock makes for a sexlink. Or, something like that? I'm probably way off. I've not paid much attention to what breeding to what, makes what. lol Although, I think I do know, breeding the same breed to the same breed, makes for the same breed.

Me too, 16! I need to be done after this hatch a long but, I want to hatch some of thes cinnamon queen's eggs she just started to lay. A true sexlink already, laid another egg today. Still small if course, but, they will get bigger.
I think the barred gene does produce sex-link. I’m so glad I bought a smaller incubator. Otherwise I would have set ALL the eggs. Some of mine are just testing fertility. I’m sure I know which rooster I’m keeping but this will tell if he’s going to cut it.
