Wheeeeeee I'm so excited!

I have one external pip. Now I need help.

Three of these eggs are about 10 hours ahead of the others. So I've been raising the humidity slowly since Thursday to split the difference a bit. Through incubation I maintained 38-45%. I'm at about 68% now. Should I go higher? Thanks I'm super nervous.

Also isn't that a big pip? Best pic I could get through the lid.

Woke up to at least 9 pips out of my 39 eggs! More than a day early! They were set the evening of the 10th.

Yes chickens. Ok great.

I quickly snatched the cracked eggto remove the wax. Its loudly peeping and I can see it trying to internal pip in there. Any tips how to give it the best shot?

I haven't seen a pip yet, but they are internally pipping as I heard a distinct peep in the incubator this morning.

Today is supposed to be my weekly house cleaning day...bathrooms and kitchen floor and dusting. Maybe that will help keep me occupied!

I saw someone above asking about dewaxing a cracked egg. I have one too, and hadn't heard anything about dewaxing. Is this something i should do?
