Hello All!! Wow I've been gone for quite a while but I'm Back now to stay!! Just read the entire New thread. I don't even remember where I left off in the original so I guess I have to run over there and catch up too Glad to hear Derp is doing well hopefully she still is and had a good Christmas. I know!! It's so nerve wracking!! I ordered chicks three weeks ago. For three days before they came, I was so distracted from everything! Couldn't stop staring at the USPS tracking thingy.

I'm getting Bielefelders from Greenfire. I'm hoping with all my heart that they are as healthy and friendly as everyone says! I had to get girls as my rooster is very handicapped and I know another rooster could easily harm him, and Bielefelders are an auto-sexing breed so I shouldn't have the bad luck I've had with sexed chicks (I've gotten at least one rooster every time!). I also needed to get them from somewhere that vaccinates, since I have had Marek's in my flock.
