I marked my eggs to go under my broody with black sharpie. One of the eggs hatched today and the other should tomorrow.

I just recently started hatching, and I have been doing quail. I have been making the dates and which pair my eggs are from (with a symbol) on my eggs. I'm trying to keep track of what's going on so I can learn from my mistakes. At first I did pencil, but with the spots it was so hard to see, so I went over my markings in sharpie and then had a mild panic attack I had just ruined my eggs! I search BYC and found your post... thank you for this test, I will now continue to use sharpie. You saved me from my own self induced fear.

Also I'm using a fine point sharpie, which is absolutely fantastic for these tiny eggs!
