No, the person who said that Easter eggers do not have beards and muffs is incorrect. They do have muffs & beards most of the time. They are just multicolored unlike purebred Ameraucana which are very specific colors. . Beautiful Easter Eggers you have! I personally love birds with ear muffs & beards.

If your reffering to who she replied to (me) i said they didnt have it as pronounced, i beileve no one ever had said that. who are you saying did?

No, i think their EEs can i see the comb types? Amarucanas have peas and easter eggers have USUALLY a rose, not always!

also whats the lay color?

Easter eggers have mostly modified pea combs usually a single and pea mix

I have 6 baby Ameraucanas!! Two blue and four splash!! I also have Ursula! The solid black Ameraucana, she is a little over a year old!! The two candled eggs are Ursula’s!! I have 21 eggs in incubator. Only 2 are Ursula’s. My Sapphire Gem rooster got a hold of her and i have no clue what these babies are going to look like lol the last picture is of Happy Feet. The roo that bred with Ursula!

I have bantam wheaten, BW and self blue. I keep everyone one together in the winter but in a couple weeks I’ll be separating and setting up breeding pens. This year my focus will be my self blues.
I really love this breed they are so personable.

Please let me know if you would be willing to sell hatching eggs next spring! I really love Wheaten and was hoping to find some bantie eggs next year! I think I’m only about 30 minutes from you!

Bella is beautiful I just picked up two grow out pullets from a breeder. I wanted two splashes, but settled for one and either a black or blue and the blue she hatched ended up being the other girl, so I have a splash and a blue. They are 6 going on 7 weeks old and so funny. They both cry for me to come get them and hold them, and when I come to do it, they run around all crazy like they’re going to be murdered. Then they decide oh, it’s okay…and jump on my hand and we sit to watch tv and they spend the whole time trying to maneuver and find the best spot to lay down. They get comfy, start to fall asleep and then quickly wake up, walk on each other and bicker over getting comfortable again. Lots of silliness and noise…will be fun to see how their personalities develop I just love this breed of chicken! Every one I’ve owned is a character and so friendly and gentle. And while I wanted the splash more than a blue (I have like 7 blue hens ) I think the blue is going to be my favorite based on personality. Time will tell but she’s just a silly bird with lots to say

Thank you! Lovely little ladies you have their too! Ya Bella is a bit of a drama queen as well If the bigs come within 3ft of her she let's out these squeals and runs like a lunatic. She's my first ameraucana and I really wanted a splash and super happy I got one! So far I have really enjoyed watching her grow ☺

I will have eggs in 2 weeks. I have someone picking up eggs next weekend. I am willing to meet to pick up but I don’t want to ship. Right now I have a blue wheaten rooster over wheaten hens. So you will get a mix of wheaten and blue wheaten. Private message me if you are still interested.
