The American Cemani Breeders Club...open forum

Yes they were hatched this spring... Varying ages... I will hang on to the ones with the darkest mouths regardless of sheen. Toes, combs, wattles etc are all looking good on the keepers.

The ACs enjoyed some watermelon yesterday.

And my broody girl is still stuck to the nest, bound and determined to have chicks. I can't remember the date they're due  but likely in the next two weeks.

My handsome Cemani boy, Lafayette! He's so beautiful...the pictures don't really capture it (and he's very shy and runs away). He has these gorgeous green and purple tinged feathers that iridesce in the sunlight, and his hackle feathers glisten almost silver when the sun hits him. He's about 20 weeks now, and has the goofiest crow I've ever heard! I love that silly rooster. :))))

I know this is an old thread but the chicks look like they are fibro hmong to me... which can also be quite expensive... maybe the seller mixed up his boxes of eggs...

Thread is still alive and active... what chicks are you talking about?
Years back, it was proved that there were many mixed breeds being passed off as full AC...
