The American Cemani Breeders Club...open forum

If anyone in the Central Florida area is looking for the Ayam Cemani breed, I am downsizing and have a 5 month old pullet and cockerel from GFF line in need of rehoming. I don’t ship birds but they can either be picked up or I can deliver.

I have uploaded pictures for your review of the ayam cemani pair

I am not anywhere in your area, but they are a gorgeous pair!
How are the roosters of the breed, generally? I have a mixed breed roo who’s a, let’s just say, a feisty one. I know every animal is an individual, but are the roos of this breed people friendly and gentle w the hens? I would love to get some of these birds from my area (western NY) next time I add to the flock.

Thank you...The rooster is not aggressive and barely makes any noise. I raised them since they were 2 days old and they interact well free ranging with my other breeds. I was going to start breeding them but had a change in plans and am focusing on breeding my silkies. They are a lovely pair and feel they would be a lovely addition to a breeding program.

Hi I just found this thread! I am so excited. I have a Ayam cemani rooster, and I am considering getting him some ayam cemani hens. I want to know what to look for, since it is difficult to find a sop for them. I can post pics of my roo. Any advice is appreciated. I know he isn't perfect, but I need to know what to look for in future breeding stock
