The American Cemani Breeders Club...open forum

Did anyone else note the amount of eggs the auction is for?

The auction price is at $299.99 The ad states You will receive EXACTLY 1 egg!

Just my opinion and I don't raise Cemani but if I did these birds would all be culls if they truly are Cemani that carry a recessive white gene. That is not something true breeders would want popping up in their flocks. So not sure why they are claiming to be true serious breeders breeding the blackest of birds and then say hey we have this white gene in our flocks and we breed it forward and also sell eggs to others so we can muddy up the gene pool. Some people

I hope others are smart enough not to buy from this guy.

They are one of the biggest scam artist on Ebay for Ayam Cemani's. and its sad that they keep getting by with it.

Just a question for everyone on here who has hatched their own chicks - how long until you can reliably sex them? I know Greenfire said it was hard so they had to wait till three months, but does it really take that long or can you tell ahead of time?

Some you can tell as early as 4 to 6 weeks, and then I've had some that I thought were pullets and then around 5 months or so turn out to be cockerels from the same line.

Thanks Randy! I bought some Greenfire eggs from an NPIP inspector in Illinois who actually even went so far as to show me the shipping label from Greenfire to him to prove they were legitimate (can never be too careful with this breed, sadly, as has been discussed in here) and two hatched. One is a cull and will live in my layer flock, the other looks really nice. I have a half cemani chick who has wattles coming in that is the same age, and nothing on the cemanis, so I was just curious how long it would be before I can tell what these two are.

Hi, unfortunately since you decided to leave me negative feedback, I will be leaving you negative feedback and ruining your account here. I will also be having multiple people and friends on this website leave you negative feedback....
You can take back the negative feedback you left on my page or your account will be ruined with tons of negative feedback....

Hello, my friend showed me that you left them negative feedback claiming their birds are not pure and scaring their buyers away. Please take that off immediately or I will also give you negative feedback to see how you like it. He has good cemani and you need to take that off immediately. That will not be tolerated.

Well, that about proves he has two accounts. You also can't blackmail people with feedback. Report him to the mods for that. You can actually report a private message from the messages page.
