So this is my first hatching from the columbian dad and mom is a paint. The chick has all yellow down, with no black patches of feathers, but has a marbled pattern of pink and black. So what is this chicks considered, a white paint, or just a white?
*the second chick is a blue. Still waiting on the erd one to hatch!

Another view of the chick.
Do you mean that the skin is marbled pink and black? If so, that is a pigment issue that happens with paint. As for the feather colors, Sometimes the paint spots don't come in until they are a little older. But I've also hatched whites from paint.
Does this chick have spraddle leg or was it just how he was standing when you took the pic?
