Excuse my facial expression in this one. LOL! I was trying to get a good picture of my 3 1/2 month old non-bearded pullet.

Nice dark spots in that tail! I love that Pullet nice type and she can see! I want more beardless.

I have a white beardless rooster to breed with her so I can make the white whiter. And go back and do whatever. Can I show these and get really good placings? I will accumulate some bearded black hens for my bearded paint roo though.

Adorable! Look at that heart shape. He looks like my beardless white Roo but mine has a bigger kind of ugly cone. But he's small and nice type and a total sweet heart! Not mean at all.

Thank you Suzierd! I think they are adorable but I am so partial!!! Their Momma is one of my favorite pullets and they were hatched from her very first eggs. It was a test hatch to see if the eggs were fertile - so from pullet eggs. Ha! Ha! Ha!

So adorable. And really fun knowing they were her first eggs! Newbie question, when does she stop being a pullet?

I thought after their first egg they would be a hen. Or is it their first adult molt?

Females under a year are pullets. A year and older are hens. Same thing with males, only replace pullet with cockerel and hen with rooster.
