Well...The weather in Maine...The storm started out with dry thunder and lightning, that's when I set up a battery powered light for the chickens, but when the rain came... The rain came!!

One bang of thunder shook the shelves of the house! Never had that happen before!! I luckily didn't lose power. I normally wouldn't be 'as' worried without power, but our older flock's rooster passed away a couple days ago, and they used of had him for protection. Not to mention he passed away when it was DARK.

But, the rain helped the gardens!!!
That's if the seeds are still underground!!

Ok, so 1st of all this is NOT me haha.
But it is my BR Tina who turned 1 yr and became a hen Feb18 2017. Here she is cuddling with her happy new owner. I selected her new owner very carefully and still get photo updates. So I DK if she is eligible? I do not have access to most of my pics due to the software update still in progress. Many members do not have access yet to their best pics.
