The Angry Hen's Silliest Chicken Contest!

Butters.jpg

Butternut turned one yesterday, but she's moulting (and doesn't she look impressed)! She's not supposed to moult for another 6 months and none of her sisters are! She hasn't even been broody (unlike one of her sisters who is always broody). (I'm in the Southern Hemisphere by the way).

Dora.jpg

Our Silkie, Dora, who made herself a nest in the run and went broody (no roosters here so no fertile eggs). We had awful weather and I had to rescue her one night when she was getting drenched by the driving rain!

Floss 1.jpg

We raised Fairy Floss but she lives at my Mum's now. Despite now being huge she still tries to jump on my head, just like she did when she was a little (and then not so little) chick.
