Guess what! Ilene got adopted today! Not only that, but Zippy (a new dog), Dover and Bya were as well. And also Chunk-A-Monk, Adam and Zither got to go into a wonderful foster program to help them with some behavior and stress problems they have.
Sasha is getting to go up for adoption now! Reece, a 5-6 month-old hound mix puppy was neutered today so should get his chance to go up for adoption as well. Dory, the shy 4-month-old pryrenees mix, is going into foster to help her learn how to be a dog.
Dogs waiting their turn for the go ahead to be adoptable are Rigby, Danby (poor guy was returned), Lita, Boomer (he has a broken pelvis but is healing and able to walk), Caleb (total sweetie), Vixie, John and Cagney. I believe Nina may have been returned as well, as I saw a dog that looked just like her without a name on her cage.
Margot was made dog of the week, and hopefully can find her perfect family and Moose has some people interested and is going to have surgery on his torn ACL!
All and all, things are going pretty well around here.
