Oh man, people just don't realize how much changed from that one act ... like a stone dropped into a still pond and the generational effects are still shaking out. I liken it to when the plague came to Europe in the 1240's ... art, music, religion, class structure, politics, religion, economics, family dynamics ... everything changed.
