Would you mind taking a look at Bluey here?
We got him for his structural color, but I'm not sure what his base color is, can you see what genes may be involved? I kept thinking of him as "black with leakage", but the white on his wingtips has me wondering.
He's a Mosaic, and unusually dark, as the breeder was selecting for dark patterns, but she couldn't use him without enough pattern. (We also got 6 chicks from her that are light colored / patterned). The breeder said he was her lightest white downed chick ever until his feathers came in and surprised her.

The project with Bluey is why I was asking you a few weeks ago about autosomal red (thanks!), as I read that is connected to the purple sheen. I'd like to carry on his purple / blue sheen without the color leakage. My plan was to cross him with black hens. Would the offspring be mostly black as I had hoped?

* He lost his tail at the breeders along with a bunch of her other youngsters, but it is finally growing back in.

Thank you!
Looks like Silver/gold split with sparse barring, only in the hackles, & saddle areas.

My girl pea, mainly has barring in the hackles, & thigh areas.

No barring found on that rooster(could not see them on any of his mostly black body)
The light areas, look to have barring. I say sparse, since it's only in specific areas rather then all over. My hen pea is a good example of this.(though she's not black)
