Also, this runty one in the middle looks white, unlike that last ones I hatched a year ago which were more yellow. Is it a pure Wheaten, or White?

On a closer look, they seem to be Wheaten/Wildtype heterozygote(partridge is rarely seen in Malayoid type of birds), the white chick in the middle could be pure Wheaten or Wheaten/Wildtype but Splash(only of both parents were diluted by the blue mutation)

The one in the middle was most likely fathered by the Splash Wheaten Malay Cock, since that came from the coop he was in. The hen that produced the chick is Wheaten, but zero black in the tail though.

The stripey chicks are from my Blue Wheaten Cock, & Wheaten hen.

It's good to know they're Wildtype based.

Wondering if my Malays are carrying the recessive Diluter gene, Ig/Ig. The two yellow stripey chicks are feathering out as Buff with blue, or just buff with black. So, far the solid yellow looks like it maybe feathering out white.

Will post pictures later.

@nicalandia

Blue Australorp x Mottled Java -- would I be able to tell the difference between a chick from this pairing and a pure Australorp from it's appearance?
None whatsoever. Both are Extended Black, single comb, clean shank and while javas have yellow skin, the White skin from Australorps is dominant over the yellow one

Will be posting the 1 week growth update of the Malays later today. One has either a very light blue, or lavender, or it's due to a possible diluter gene. Will find out though. Colors I haven't seen before, except with blue partridge Silkies & Porcelain D'uccles. It's a weird one.
