We can skip this one then.Silkies as a breed are very tricky to guess colors and when you introduce an unknown sire the issues/guessing their genetics grows exponentially and I've been feeling down for a while do to many personal issues and I am not as sharp as I would like be.
The first time it happened, no the parents were not related. The second time it happened was with my project chicken and I bred them brother to sister.That is very strange, the first time I hear about it. Are the parents related? Are they older than usual? Perhaps it's something that will not appear again.
Keep in mind that Malay's were used in the make up of the Cornish Chicken, sometimes you will see some chicks growing very large almost Cornish like. But then settle within standard weight.We can skip this one then.
