Question: are you refering to the chick down color, or the adult plumage too?

I've been wondering whether a Columbian-patterned adult could exist on e+/e+
On Chick Down..

Rhodebars are e+/e+, Co/Co, Also Quail pattern is e+/e+, Co/Co and hackle melanizer

How is the Brassy Back color created? I've got some Brassy Back OEGBs, I'm planning to breed/experiment with.
They were created by the cross of Black OEG and Black Breasted Black and then F1 x F1 produced what is a Melanized e+/e+

For some reason some where I saw BB Red over Brown Red, for Brassy Back.
Heterozygous BBR/BR birds look identical to Brown Red, Melanized Brown Red look almost black with red shoulders but dark hackles/saddle

That's a pretty bird.

Thanks for clarification, that the combo wouldn't work for Brassy Back.

This is the thread to ask anything related to genetics to me. I have Asperger's syndrome. I have poor social skills and can't understand sarcasm so science/numbers/genetics have come very easy to understand.

Ask away.
I have a Silver Laced Wyandotte (single comb) rooster. I would like to know what happens when I cross him with my hens:

Speckled Sussex
Blue Rock
Black Australorp
Cuckoo Maran
Sapphire Gem

Thank you :)
