The "Ask Anything" to Nicalandia Thread

She seems to have yellow skin and the brown cover some Rhode Island get but not much so it looks greenish.
It looks like a very ugly olive color, like what you see from Olive Egger eggs occasionally.

One thing I'm curious about is claws, hers are unusual. Never seen before on chickens.
 
What genes are causing her Dwarfism? I'm curious.
I know alittle about Dwarfism, but haven't really seen a case like her's.

she seems proportionate, perhaps its a thyroid issue. Chickens are like humans, some times they suffer from developmental issues. Not everything needs to be genetic.
Thyrogenous Dwarfism. Is that what you're talking about?

Those with the condition die between 7-12 weeks. I've had this happen with one of my silkies a couple years ago.
