I've got a couple of birds who need their nails trimmed. I hate it when they turn out like that. lol

You'd think with being a Malay, she'd have way thicker shanks and big feet like mom and dad.

Her's aren't overgrown. I've also have a few ladies that need a pedicure.

Depends on the individual, some have thinner shanks. Some thicker.

She's pure Malay. No Bantams in the coop, or Bantam EEs.
Just a freak that came out of nowhere.

My birds do run together yes, but I monitor all breedings closely, & the Malays were more actively breeding this year, then the EEs.
I had a Malay hen, & rooster separated for breeding this year, & Big Fatty, came from the breeder group, same with her brother. The hen had the proper 3 week cleansing before breeding, & hatching.

I won’t argue. I just don’t have any reason to believe that bird is actually a pure Malay.
