I wasn't talking about sexlinking.

Of course sice yellow or White are Autosomal and not linked to Fibromelanosis even less to Sex linked Dermal Inhibitor or its recessive wildtype id+.

Fm/Fm, w/w, id+/id+ is possible even if not as comum as Fm/Fm, W+/W+, id+/id+ but the Skin is full Fibro due to id+,
Okay, thanks.

I have White Pearl Leghorn cockerels and pullets, as well as Rhode Island Red pullets.

I suspect it is obvious what I will get from the incubator when I hatch the white eggs, but I wonder what characteristics I will get when I hatch the brown eggs.

Is this a known, or a wait-and-see?
Mixes with White Leghorns are fairly predictable: chicks are white, usually with a few black dots, no matter what other breed is involved.

The California White at this hatchery is an example of the coloring common in Leghorn-mix chicks. Since yours have a Rhode Island Red mother, they may also develop some red leakage as they grow up.

The mixed daughters will probably lay eggs that are much lighter than their RIR mothers, but not really white, maybe a cream color.
