Could they have been adding dom white to silver duckwing Phoenix?
Most of the roosters I run are silver or golden. My only pure Golds are a sebright and a Spitzhauben. The Chamios and one Phoenix rooster are my only possible dom white contributors. Don't know if the Phoenix was or was not dom white tho as they are supposed be recessive. It was from a breeder tho that called it platinum.
Addition that may or may not be true. Platinum (the metal) is described as silver white.

The dominant white gene would only need to come from one parent, and if the mother is a Chamois Spitzhauben then she would supply it.
Sounds like the pullet in question being silver-based doesn't narrow down the possible fathers by much, though, if most of your roosters have at least one copy of silver.
The name 'platinum' in chickens describes a bird heterozygous for both dun and blue, I^d/i+ Bl/bl+. However, it's definitely not a common variety, so maybe this person isn't aware of its existence if they're using the name on what sounds like are not genetically platinum birds?
They certainly could have been adding dominant white to silver duckwing, I'd expect at least the roosters to outwardly appear white from that with maybe some flecking if they're heterozygous... Do you have any pictures of this bird?
Based on the slate legs, I think probably recessive white. Dominant white washes them out usually.
My Chamois Spitzhauben have slate legs too.
The beige color is autosomal red and the eyebrow color is still the chick plumage which hasn't melted out yet.
