How are blue silver duckwing made and could they be put in a breeding group consisted of Fawn silver duck, khaki silver duck, and silver duck and still breed out to their true color?

The guy I put up in the Ameraucana thread is out of a golden blue duckwing EE and a silver duckwing Phoenix hen.

I don't know if it will interfere with khaki or fawn.

To get blue on the duckwing pattern you would need something that's blue and breed to silver duckwing. Then start the process of cleaning up the pattern I believe. Might have to do brother to sister and the offspring from that back to the duckwing parent.

Ok was just wondering, Ive got some blue and black OEGB chicks that I hatched that may be split for lavender so I may starts the process for blue ducks after I produce some blue chicks that dont carry the lavender gene.

So was just playing with the chicken cross calculator and crossing blue into fawn can give you platinum.

Thanks! Just got done read it. Sounds like Platinum would be pretty to breed. I believe I’ve actually read that thread a couple years ago.

How I’m the world did I produce silver gingers? Dad is a Fawn Silver Duckwing OEGB and mom was a Porcelain OEGB

Here is a picture of the offspring of the pair. Do u think the chick on the left will be Silver Ginger?

I also some how produced silver gingers about 5 years ago.
