Cochins are NOT real chickens ... they're "Feathered Floof-Puppies" .., at least, that's what they are according to DD!

That’s my thought about Silkies. Black skin, 5 toes, no feathers, sleeping in nests… Need more proof to establish that Silkies are no real chickens?

The hunt is still open: the next be a bird preening.
But time passed, so lets make it a bit easier.
A bird preening or a bird pecking on another chicken. The bird has to be poultry of course.

At the risk of upsetting a dog owner or three, Silkies are the Cocker Spaniels of the chicken world ... soft, sweet and pretty ... but dumb as the proverbial rock. Still, we keep them around, mainly because they are, well, sweet, soft and pretty. And I do know that of which I speak ... I have both!

Silkies are dumb, until it comes to trying to be broody. Somehow they become all knowing of exactly where the eggs are and how to get in
