Amarillo Rose and Arabian Knight led them through the forest to a small clearing where several horses, including Night Stalker, were gathered. His eyes found Jay right away "You got him, good." He said coolly "Welcome back Jay."

"Thank you" Jay replied, matching his cool tone. "We also managed to capture one of theirs" He stepped back to reveal Ash Fire.

"Ah, what a pleasant surprise." Night Stalker replied with a slight nod. "Secure him" He ordered Lady Estella and Arabian Knight, then turned to Jay "Walk with me, we have much to talk about."

Jay nodded "Indeed, Amarillo Rose, keep an eye on that roan mare."

The roan, by the name of Dark Falls, watched the horses with an unafraid and determined fire in her amber eyes.

Amarillo Rose kept a close eye on her as they moved Ash Fire "So whats your name anyways?"

"Dark Falls." She replied bleakly.

"Do you know Lightning?" She asked, flipping her mane back.

Dark Falls nodded hastily. "My original band hated Sagemint, Lightning especially, but Sagemint raided our camp and destroyed our band. I was only a filly, but I remember watching Lightning personally killing both my mother and my father." She shrugged nonchalantly.

Jay pricked his ears from where he was standing beside Night "Lightning killed your mother and father?" He asked, a dark gleam in his eyes "Was Wind there?"

Jay looked slightly disappointed, but when he spoke his voice was clear "Why don't you tell me exactly what happened." He invited.

"I remember going to sleep, but i could hear faint rustling. About two hours later I awoke to agonized caeterwauling, and fear scent. I ran over to mother, seeing dead horses scattered around me. Mother told me to stay away, and that's when I saw Lightning fighting Dad. Lightning delivered one final blow, and Dad fell to the ground. Her horses were outnumbering ours, so we tried to flee, but Mama was trapped by Lightning. Mama threw herself in front of me, then Lightning killed her."
