Wind appeared several hours later, his large majestic form looked intimidating. "Good evening, Lightning darling." Wind looked over the foal.

Lightning raised her royal blue eyes to him, her mane and coat dirty. Her eyes, tired and dull. "Wind." She murmured.

He walked to her, and nuzzled her. "My dear, how are you feeling?"

"Not great," She whispered.

"It will get better, I promise." He smiled gently.

"I hope." She stole a glance at the filly.

When Wind saw the filly, you could almost feel his gaze grow cold, and his heart colder.

The filly stared back at him, her blue gaze was intelligent and curious. Much like Jay's had been as a foal.

Arctic dragon appeared. "Wind, I must speak with you...in private." He said as he eyed the filly.

Wind nodded and turned to Lightning, "I'll be back soon." He followed Dragon out to the meeting place.
