The filly turned to Lightning, hurt showing in her eyes "Why don't they like me?" She asked in a small voice.

"I don't know."

"Do you like me?" She asked, her tone was innocent, merely curious, but the question was serious and direct.

Strider snorted, "Why don't I care for the filly for a little while?" He suggested "I wouldn't want .. anything to happen to her."

"No." Wind chuckled. "Leave her with Lightning..."

"Of course, little one. I'm your mother, I love you."

 

[HollyBird24]

"Of course, little one. I'm your mother, I love you."

The filly nodded slowly, accepting Lightning's answer "Thank you."

"What will you call her?" Little Cloud's voice came from the mouth of the cave.

 

[TechnoCat]

Lightning thought for merely a moment. "Sitka."

 

[LittleLady98]

Little Cloud nodded as Bright Day appeared. "Welcome, niece." Bright said.

Sitka watched them from Lightning's side, her eyes seemed to be taking everything in, though she said little.
