Race walked by her, "Hello, Sitka." He stopped beside her.

"Congradulations, Race." She dipped her head to him.

"Thank you." He smiled. "Did you understand the ceremony?"

 

[HollyBird24]

"I think so" She replied thoughtfully "You became a full warrior, or member of the herd. Instead of a colt, or foal. Right?"

 

[LittleLady98]

"Impressive." He nodded. "I'm sure that dad will be over here soon."

Her gaze turned slightly apprehensive and she lowered her voice "I don't think he likes me..."

 

[LittleLady98]

"Sure he does, he just wasn't expecting you to be born so soon." Race smiled gently.

Sitka only nodded, secretely, she wondered why her early birth had caused Wind to be angry. Worried, perhaps, but not an emotion that would have prompted the hard, cold look he had given her when she was born.

"I know what you're thinking, but dad has been very stressed lately." He lowered his head to hers.

"Is he coming now?" She forced herself to lighten her tone.

 

[LittleLady98]

"Looks like it!" Race smiled as Wind's large form walked towards them.
