Count me in! I had Barbies as a child. I loved them... well, I loved to torture them! (Epic adventures included executing them by hanging, pulling their heads off {as I lacked a guillotine}, and playing "Evil Queen", in which one Barbie was queen and tortured the other barbies in interesting ways. I also made one of my Ken dolls fully tattooed... in replica of my dear old dad. Actually, I went BEYOND the four large ones that my dad has... My father was pleased. He added one that said "Prisoner of Love" across Ken's back. Hmmm... and my parents wonder how they raised such a strange child?

Oh I did those things with my sister's Barbie dolls, even with the gender bender stuff. Popping off Barbie's head and plant it firmly on Ken's body and then vice versa with Ken as well. Even dressed them differently and they only thing my sis would know is by undressing them. She would literally CRY when she saw Barbie's body having no boobies!

One year for the 4th of July we tapped barbie to a bottle rocket...I think she's still in the tree behind the house.....That was 4yrs ago. Oh and we tapped her upside down, her hair caught fire.

I don't like Barbies, and wasn't allowed to play with them. It gives a very distorted veiw of beauty to girls. They all try and be really skinny so they look.... like Barbies. Pssst, did you know lots of guys actually like their girls to be a little chubby?

Yes Barbie dolls gives girls a distorted view of a "perfect" doll but I have to understand the girls using them for their own imagination and playtimes. When they want to look LIKE Barbie, then they have crossed over to the BarbieNeverland! Time to intervene!
