I had a red 'Jane' doll, made from hard plastic that was jointed to ride a horse. I loved her! Also had a matching/ tan man doll who rode. The barbie's legs always popped off when I made them ride. My parents bought a string of dolls trying to find one that would properly 'ride' my horses, and the red 'Jane' was by far the best. I came home one day to find her in pieces. My brother's friend said she fell and came apart

Yes Ive had Breyer horses as well but I didnt play Breyer horse with Barbie, they were too "small" for Barbie with her feet on the ground LOL!

If I can find those plastic horses, they were a good foot tall.....I will hav eto find it and I will be posting it.

I never had too many Barbies (just a few token ones to play with my girl friends who weren't into horses) but after I outgrew them, my brother was big into dinosaurs (Jurassic Park had just come out) and used to use them as the "victims" in his dinosaur play, cutting their legs off and coloring the stump with red marker, stuff like that.
