Let me think about this for a second... I currently have:

8 silkied Black adults (3 roosters, 5 hens)
2 silkied Blue hens
4 silkied Reds (1 rooster, 3 hens)
4 smooth Mottled hens
1 silkied White hen
1 silkied sort of incomplete-Partridge-looking hen

1 silkied Black pullet
6 silkied Blue chicks (looking like an even 50-50 split on boys and girls)
5 silkied Black chicks (looks like just one pullet with them, though)
3 smooth Chocolate chicks (likely one pullet here, too)
1 silkied chick that appears to be mixed color (and he's a cockerel, of course)

I'm trying to build up three flocks of the Blue and Black silkieds to maintain them and breed them toward the standard. My third flock growing out among the babies, of course, though I've got an unfortunate number of cockerels in the mix for that plan

Plus I have my two large fowl Cochins in Blue and Splash... I guess I just like Cochins in general.

Here’s my Bantam Cochins I had. I sold them because sometime in the future I’d like to get show quality or silkied Cochins, and I had to many chickens.

My beautiful Silkie barred Cochin mix I got form a lady! She loved to raise babies and was very sweet! Sadly something got her.

I believe this is the daughter the the barred Silkie Cochin bred to my dark blue/black Silkie. She loves to raise babies too! I love her blue!

I was nervous about doing this too! For some reason it feels very stressful getting them wet! Mine have all been really good about it and actually seem to enjoy the hair dryer blow out. I rarely bathe them but sometimes it just has to happen!

Its really pretty easy. Just get warm water and keep their head above the water. Thats about it!
