But of course! Here's the before:
Oh he's adorable! So this is Ferdy right?!
That 5th pic with the head tilt and legs is my favorite!!!
And here's the after:
How precious!!! He is definitely a looker!!! Is that Penelope with him here?
They r both just beautiful!

Yep this is exactly what Joey needs!!! Perhaps if I was on my own and no grandkids it would be ideal.
But even with having Joey in the bachelor coop and putting Daisy in there with him during the day, he immediately came running out and tried to get my 4 yr old grandson yesterday before I could get to him!
Isn't it awful to luv something so much even though it can be a bootyhead?!
I luv my grandsons more...and even as I typed that I realized how awful that was! I don't want the grandkids to be afraid when going down there!
I'm gonna have to find him a good home soon! Though my heart aches at the thought.

The chicks are indeed Ferdy and Penelope. I can't believe they were so tiny! That photo of Ferdy is my favourite too, he just looks too awkward and adorable at the same time.

It's such a shame you have to re-home Joey. I really feel for you. It was awful when we had to re-home Leo, our Swedish Flower Roo. He was such a sweetheart with us but a real danger to the bantams. We couldn't even keep him away from them, he was such an escape artist. He did go to an excellent home though where he lives with 16 ladies and is now a show bird! I still miss him every day though. Just take your time and go with your gut . You definitely don't want your grandkids scared of chickens. My mom had a similar thing happen with my grandad's roo and she's never got over it.

This might give you a bit of a laugh to help cheer you up. Pru and Stanley eat their tea in the kitchen to make sure the little 'un gets enough as Penelope in particular will literally take food out of his mouth!
Anyway, tonight Stanley got bored so started exploring, my huge cat (he's 41 inches nose to tail) came in for some food. Stanley got into a plastic bag and couldn't get out. Next thing I know, there's a large plastic bag literally flying round the kitchen as Stanley tries to escape. Pru is clucking frantically and my poor cat thinks he's getting assaulted by a haunted bag so starts running around like a lunatic. In the middle of all this, the girls boot off outside and Ferdy comes charging in and chases the cat through the house...

Here's the little troublemaker, showing a similar head tilt to dad and just after hatching
